Opening the door to home ownership

May 08

Owning your own home might be easier than you think!

Want to purchase a home of your own?  Not sure how to get started?
If you are a Croydon resident or a key worker in Croydon, you are invited to Croydon’s low-cost home-ownership open day to find out what choices are available to you.
There will be a one-stop opportunity to shop for a home you can afford.

The open day, organised by Croydon Council and affordable homes specialist Tower Homes, will take place at Croydon Town Hall, Katharine Street, on Friday, 6th June 2008, from 1pm to 8 pm.
Many of the housing associations offering low-cost home ownership in Croydon will be present, together with one or more independent financial advisers.

There will also be presentations at 1.15pm, 2.45pm, 5.45pm and 7.15pm on the various home ownership schemes available.

The supply of New Build HomeBuy (part buy/part rent) properties has increased considerably in the past few years, providing a greater opportunity for people to own their own homes.
If you have further questions about the open day, contact the housing specialist team at Croydon Council on 020 8726 6100.
