Green Routes

Metropolitan recognises that sustainability is key to our long term stability and success. Our goal is to give our customers a better deal in society, whilst recognising the need to protect and enhance the environment through its own and others’ activities.

Our Commitment
Read about our commitment to sustainability.

New Build Sustainability
Metropolitan homes are all built to strict UK building regulations and achieve codes for sustainable homes. This means eco-friendly credits are awarded in areas of performance relating to the construction of the building and the environmental impact to the construction of the building and the environmental impact of living in these homes. We are assessed on materials used, waste management systems, use of energy to run your home, use of land, the impact on current wildlife and the impact on health and well being of residents.

Do Your Bit
You can make a real difference by just changing a few things you do by habit. If we all make small changes, our negative impact on the environment can be substantially reduced.
