Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) selected by MHO on the panel list below have specialist experience of providing New Build HomeBuy (formerly known as Shared Ownership) affordability assessments and financial advice and are regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Take your next step towards home ownership and book a financial advice session with one of our panel member IFAs - they will help you work out what you can afford and review how New Build HomeBuy can work for you. Please contact the MHO panel IFA of your choice directly within 5 working days of receiving this panel list to arrange your affordability assessment and financial advice session. Once you’ve done this, you’ll also need to call or email your Sales Officer at MHO to confirm who your IFA appointment is with as well as the date and time of your appointment.
It is important to note, the affordability assessment carried out by the IFA on behalf of MHO and the provision of a mortgage are two separate services. You can choose to use any approved mortgage provider for your mortgage but you must have the affordability assessment undertaken by an IFA from our approved panel. You can use the panel IFAs to get your mortgage but it is not a statutory requirement. We do not endorse any mortgage related services of the IFAs on our panel. The choice is yours.
If you choose to use any of these IFAs to arrange your mortgage, you should ask about the mortgages they can access for you and if there are any fees payable to them.
