First Steps Affordable Homes show comes to East London!

19 September 2012

FIRST STEPS Affordable Homes Show in East London Poster

First-time buyers looking to own a piece of Olympic history are being given the chance to do so.

The Affordable Home Show East London 2012 will feature new, affordable and shared ownership homes to buy or rent across London including apartments from East Village, formerly known as the Athletes Village, in London’s newest postcode Newham E20. So if you’re looking for a new home, you could end up living in the same apartment as the World’s Fastest Man Usain Bolt.

Thousands are expected to visit the show on October 13 at the Hilton Hotel in Canary Wharf, and as well as arranging viewings of the properties featured, visitors will also be given insider tips from housing experts, financial advisers and solicitors to answer questions and offer advice.

The show is family-friendly and promises to be a great day out. Doors open at 11am and close at 4pm and the best part is that tickets are free.

But you’ll need to be quick and register now as demand is already high.

Registration is easy - visit www.affordablehomesshow.co.uk to guarantee your entry.

And why not visit www.firststepslondon.org to see the choice of affordable new homes that are available.

FIRST STEPS is the service run by Metropolitan and L&Q on behalf of the Mayor of London and the GLA to support first-time buyer Londoners on low and middle incomes onto the housing ladder. Costs are lower than either renting privately or buying a property on the open market.

Look forward to seeing you at the Affordable Home Show East London!
