With the decorations coming down and the ink barely dry on New Year’s resolution lists, the annual surge in home seeking begins in earnest. January is traditionally the time in the housing market cycle when interest in new homes spikes and every housing developer, property marketing portal and local estate agent prepares for the rush of buyers looking to buy their first home to own or to make their next move.

At Metropolitan, we’re excited about our programme of new Shared Ownership and Private Sale homes being delivered over the coming year as we work to help our customers realise their aspiration to buy a home of their own.

A number of landmark schemes are in different phases of development across a range of locations with homes both available now and coming soon. You can find more information on the specific property listings on this website as they’re published or by contacting our sales team on 020 3535 2555, and we’ll announce more new developments as the year progress and we identify more opportunities to build and market new Metropolitan homes for sale.

Here’s what to expect from our new homes available/ launch schedule over the new calendar year.

Aldgate Place – situated near to Aldgate East London Underground station, we have a handful of two and three bedroom Shared Ownership apartments remaining at this stunning Barratt-built development. Homes at Aldgate Place come with a high specification and are ideally situated for the City, the River Thames and evenings out in Shoreditch. Open to first-time buyers from across London, the apartments are selling fast.

Brampton Park – a new residential development in the scenic Huntingdonshire village of Brampton where Metropolitan will be offering a range of new homes for Shared Ownership and private sale from two bedroom apartments to four bedroom houses from later on in 2017.

Canary Gateway – not far from the Limehouse Basin, offering easy access to Canada Square and the City, these attractive new apartments have their last launch phase during January. With just five one two and three bedroom apartments available to buyers from across London, contact our sales team urgently if you’d like to view and reserve.

Wembley Park Gate – developed adjacent to Olympic Way, which offers direct access to Wembley Park London Underground this striking new development includes thirteen one, two and three bedroom apartments, each with a balcony, available to buy through Shared Ownership from Metropolitan. Register your interest now.

Cavendish House (Wimbledon Reach) – 45 new one, two and three bedroom apartments available to Londoners at this new development in Colliers Wood which are due for launch this Spring. Positioned conveniently for the London Underground, giving access to central London in around 20 minutes, the apartments come with balconies, bike parking and a high quality specification.

Fellow Lands Way - a selection of just five new two and three bedroom houses located to the south of Derby. These fantastic new homes to own through Shared Ownership are proving popular, four are already reserved and so you’ll need to act quickly to register your interest or join our reserve list.

Hollygate Park – two three bedroom houses are currently available to Rushcliffe Borough residents through Shared Ownership at this landmark regeneration development on the edge of the Nottinghamshire village of Cotgrave. A further eight houses are due for launch towards the end of 2017. The development, which is surrounded by open countryside but is just minutes away from Nottingham City Centre, offers great affordability and an ideal location for family living.

Edwalton Park 32 new homes will be available to buy through Shared Ownership at this new development which is due for launch in the first half of 2017. As well as two and three bedroom houses, we are also pleased to offer a two bedroom bungalow. Edwalton is a charming village location on the south-eastern fringes of Nottingham, ideal for commuters into the city and lovers of the great outdoors.

New North Road – 15 new Shared Ownership apartments with one and two bedrooms located in Hainault, a place where London meets leafy Essex. Renowned for the Hainault Forest country park, Redbridge cycling centre and Circle Line access into Stratford and central London, the development is due for launch this Spring.

Oakwell Grange – set in Whetstone, Barnet, which offers the best of town and country living by offering lots of local green space as well as a busy local high street and tube access into London, we will have two three-bedroom apartments available to local residents to buy through Shared Ownership from March.

Parkside Place - a collection of 15 five bedroom and five three bedroom houses for private sale at Clapham Park. Due for launch this Spring, the houses have a high specification, private parking space, gardens and (five bedroom houses only) roof terraces. Contact our agent JLL for further details.

Rye Lane – due to launch in the summer and positioned near the apex of Peckham Rye, this new development of 27 one, two and three bedroom apartments (22 for Shared Ownership and five for private sale) sits near the apex of the Rye Park and Common. The Point – 11 one and two bedroom apartments, close to Gants Hill Underground station in Redbridge, north-east London. All of these Fairview built Shared Ownership homes are now allocated, but you can register your interest to join our reserve list.

Times Square – a selection of impressive new apartments at this art-deco styled apartment development (pictured above), a short walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden City, one of Hertfordshire’s most sought-after locations. These Chase New Homes built apartments come in a range of sizes, from suites to three bedrooms and are available through Shared Ownership, Help to Buy and private sale with launches in phased releases across the year.

Trinity Square – 10 one and two bedroom apartments available through Shared Ownership are due for launch during the Spring at this modern new development located in Barnet between Colindale and Mill Hill. Trinity Square offers both great commuter links and is within easy reach of Brent Cross Shopping Centre, one of London’s premier shopping destinations.
